Participation at school

This brochure is dedicated to children's right to participation. This right to involvement also applies in schools – a place where children and adolescents spend a significant portion of their lives. The brochure explains why the participation and involvement of children in schools is important and how it can be implemented in a child-appropriate way. At its core, the brochure provides a practical description of the roles and responsibilities adults have in promoting participation and what participation opportunities can be implemented in schools. At the end of the brochure, there is a comprehensive collection of tools for putting participation into practice.

This brochure is one of several by UNICEF Switzerland and Liechtenstein on the topic of participation: "Participation of Children and Adolescents in Theory and Practice – For Municipalities and Cities" offers an introduction to the topic of participation. "Participate!" is aimed at adolescents and supports them in contributing to their surroundings.
